Hydra and the 2nd Labour
A suspended sculptural installation created from the foreshore of the Salish Sea The work tells a modern story of the  ancient myth in which Hercules is  tasked to slay the burdensome sea creature, Hydra.   Hands, rising from the floor of the gallery space, in counterbalance, seemingly hold the weight of the plastic sculptural installation.
