Proliferation: A Dark Matter

Within the larger concept of Invisible Rivers, ia body of work, titled, Proliferation: A Dark Matter was  installed in the Eve Smart Gallery.

Proliferation,  is a sculptural installation of translucent porcelain jellyfish lumieres, and photographs, conceptualized  while snorkeling in the  clear waters of the clear waters of the Salish Sea, avoiding the smoke filled sky of the  forest fire haze.

.

Climate Change and increased Co2 emissions are having a profound effect on our oceans, causing acidification resulting in an increase in the jellyfish population.

Moon Jelly Fish are bioluminescent, emitting light and researchers tell us that Bioluminescence is a signature for dark matter reactions[1] in the universe.
