Proliferation: A Dark Matter

Within the larger concept of Invisible Rivers, is a body of work, entitled, Proliferation: A Dark Matter for installation in the Eve Smart Gallery.

Proliferation,  is a sculptural installation of translucent porcelain jellyfish lamps, wall sculptures, and photographs, conceptualized  while snorkeling off the clear waters of Roberts Creek, avoiding the smoke filled sky of the  forest fire haze.

.

Climate Change and increased Co2 emissions are having a profound effect on our oceans, causing acidification resulting in an increase in the jellyfish population.

Moon Jelly Fish are bioluminescent, emitting light and researchers tell us that Bioluminescence is a signature for dark matter reactions[1] in the universe.
